Cycles of the Soul
Type of Art: Paint |
Technique: Oil on Canvas |
Dimensions: 19.685in x 27.559in
This work fuses the ancient symbol of yin-yang with the living force of a tree that traverses seasons, emotions, and dualities. In the light half, dry branches sprout and a golden soil suggest maturity, light, and harvest; while in the dark half, the intensity of red and deep roots evoke passion, transformation, and rebirth. The central tree connects both halves, reminding us that opposites are not mutually exclusive, but rather nourish each other. A visual metaphor for the balance between light and shadow, life and death, expansion and withdrawal. Each brushstroke conveys a sigh of the soul as it passes through the cycles of existence..
